Myths
You shouldn't believe that the operation can eliminate aggression 100%. But it is reliably known that after this kind of intervention, the behavior and training of dogs improves.
However, there is currently no evidence that sterilization or castration has a detrimental effect on an animal’s development.
The only side effect is weight gain, but if you monitor your pet's diet, this issue can be resolved.
When is the best time to have surgery?
Veterinarians advise to think about this when the pet is 6-7 months old, but some points depend on the characteristics of the breed and the pet itself.
