But in the spring, flowers will definitely grow on the lawns, which some dogs will sniff and even taste.
It turns out that there is a category of plants that dogs should stay away from.
Some flowers contain toxic components, and the worst thing is that these plants can be found in parks and city flower beds.
What Plants Are Best to Keep Your Dog Away From?
Here are some examples.
- Daffodils. It is enough to prevent the dog from digging up and eating the bulb, which is toxic to it.
- Lily of the valley. The toxins contained in this flower are harmful to dogs.
- Tulips and hyacinths. Bulbous plants not recommended for dogs.
- Yew. Japanese, English and Chinese yew are toxic to dogs.
- Chrysanthemums. You shouldn't let your dog chew on this flower in large quantities.
