There is no need to wash your cat often – purrs, as a rule, cope with maintaining their own hygiene themselves. However, there are situations when washing is simply necessary.

If your cat doesn't want to take a shower, try putting the advice in this article into practice - it should help even the most "stubborn" pets.

Putting the cat in a basin and starting to pour water on it is, frankly speaking, not a very good option.

Instead, try to make your pet interested in water.

To do this, fill the bathtub with a small amount of water, and put a non-slip mat on its bottom, then throw in a couple of your favorite cat toys. You can also try to attract Murok and Barsik with treats.

When you see that your pet has calmly endured the procedure after getting its paws wet, you can gradually increase the amount of water.

This should be done until the cat realizes that the bath does not pose any danger to it, but, on the contrary, is associated with fun.

And this conviction should be reinforced with a treat, which should be offered to the pet after bathing.
