And it’s not even about the material side of keeping a pet, but about how much time you can devote to it every day.
If this important resource is limited, as it is for most of us, consider animals that are great pets and require minimal care.
Hamster
A hamster is exactly the kind of animal that does not need daily communication. The main thing is to ensure that the cage is always clean, and also to provide this furry creature with food and clean water.
Gecko (spotted leopard gecko)
What are the advantages of such an animal? It is perfect for keeping in an apartment, and the gecko does not care whether you live here alone or with a large family - it will be equally happy with you all.
In order to get a gecko, you will first need to purchase an aquarium with a capacity of 70-90 liters and do not forget to grab some treats from the pet store for the “leopard” – mealworms and crickets.
Snail
With proper care of these creatures (which, by the way, does not mean that it is extremely difficult, rather the opposite), snails can live from 10 to 15 years. And it (care) includes keeping them in a terrarium with a couple of cm of soil on the bottom and daily feeding.
