It happens that for some completely inexplicable reason a cat suddenly forgets that it has a litter box.
In such cases, owners of meowing pets try to “reason” with their pets, using sprays with the telling name “Antigadin”, citrus peels – in the hope that their smell will scare the cat away from the secluded corner.
However, not all of them are effective, and the problem remains unresolved.
Sometimes despair reaches such a degree that you want to spank the furry prankster after yet another puddle or pile he makes.
However, you shouldn't resort to physical violence either. More precisely, you should, but not towards the cat.
Take an old stuffed toy (it is highly desirable that it be in the shape of a cat) and, sitting down with it in front of your pet, call upon all your acting skills to help.
In a stern tone, scold your stuffed cat for using your shoes instead of a litter box again, and take out all your pent-up anger on it – you can even poke its face into a puddle.
After such a “performance,” pets, as a rule, forget about their pranks and begin to regularly use the litter box again.
