What to put on the windowsill so that the cat does not climb on it anymore: a little trick

For many cats, the windowsill is one of their favorite places in the apartment.

And there is nothing surprising about this: while on this surface, the pet can look out onto the street and observe what is happening indoors.

In addition, there is a heating radiator under the window sill. Therefore, the four-legged friend gets the opportunity to warm up.

However, not all owners like that the fluffy one often jumps on the windowsill. After all, due to the excessive activity of the pet, many things can fall on the floor, including pots with indoor plants.

Of course, the ideal solution to the problem is to remove all unnecessary objects from the windowsill and turn the surface into a comfortable place for the cat to rest.

But if for some reason this is impossible, then you have to wean the fluffy one from jumping on the above-mentioned window element. There is no need to take any serious measures. It is enough to put some things on the windowsill.

What things are we talking about?

We are talking about spruce and pine cones. Cats do not like them: modified shoots of coniferous trees are quite prickly.

In order not to injure their soft paws, furry pets are forced to avoid places where scaly parts of plants lie.

Thus, in order to wean a cat from jumping or climbing onto a windowsill, it is enough to put more pine cones on it.
