Many furry pets demonstrate their maximum level of activity not during the day, but at night.
And this is not always to the liking of the owners: it turns out that during daylight hours you cannot pet a sleeping animal, and at night the cat does not allow a person to rest.
But why do some furry creatures have exactly this sleep and activity pattern?
There are several possible reasons. In some cases there is no reason to worry, in other situations the pet owner should be wary.
Domestic animals can start looking for prey even in the dark, MOS SMI reports.
Night "hunting" is absolutely normal for a cat.
If an animal is left alone in an apartment from morning until evening, then it is clearly bored.
In such conditions, the pet can spend almost all of this time sleeping.
The cat wakes up only after the owner returns home. At night, the fluffy one wants to "compensate" for the daytime boredom, which explains all his "running".
Perhaps the animal does not sleep at night because it is in pain.
This is a clear reason to go to a veterinary clinic and show your cat to specialists.
