Almost every person who decides to take a cat into their home thinks about how nice it will be to hug and pet the purring creature.
But not every animal will agree to such conditions.
The thing is that a lot depends on the breed. Some simply cannot stand being squeezed and petted too often.
British cat
Such pets seem "plush". You really want to hug them and pick them up. The cat will be a devoted companion, but you won't be able to pet it often.
Persian cat
She does not like it when her personal boundaries are violated. In response, she can scratch or bite.
Russian Blue
Her grey-blue fur coat, refined manners and calm nature will conquer anyone. But such a kind animal can release its claws if you pester it.
Maine Coon
