Parrots are known to be able to keep their feathered bodies clean.
However, this does not mean that these pets do not need bathing. Moreover, parrots really like to splash in warm water.
If you neglect bathing your parrot, it can lead to allergies and various diseases.
If it is a cold season outside, it is enough to carry out water procedures for parrots once a month.
At the same time, if the air in the room is too dry due to continuously operating radiators, the number of baths can be doubled – up to once every 2 weeks.
During the summer, your pet should have unlimited access to a bathing area so that he can spend as much time in the water as he likes.
Please note: do not force the bird into the bath - some of them cannot stand spending time in water.
Likewise, you should avoid washing your parrot if it is feeling unwell or is currently undergoing treatment.
