A pet can be not only a cat or a dog, but also something more exotic - for example, a praying mantis.
If you want to have such an unusual pet, you need to properly prepare for its arrival.
To do this, you need to buy a terrarium or container with small holes in the lid. There should be many of them - slits or holes can also be made in the walls of the "house".
The container should not be less than 20 by 20 cm, and its height should be at least 30 cm.
Line the bottom of the terrarium with sand, and sprinkle coconut shavings on top.
It would also be a good idea to plant some kind of plant here or even place a pot with an indoor flower in the container.
Another pleasant addition for the praying mantis will be tree branches - 2-3 pieces are enough. Try to make sure that these are not just dry sticks, but full-fledged shoots from trees and bushes with green leaves on them.
The praying mantis's home should be located in a place protected from direct sunlight and drafts.
