As is well known, cats rarely communicate with their fellows by meowing – usually these sounds are intended to communicate with humans.
The following breeds are particularly successful in the art of communication.
Representatives of this breed have received the title of "the most talkative cat". Their abilities are eloquently demonstrated by the fact that in the ancient temples of Siam these cats were used as guards, warning with loud sounds about the approach of a stranger.
If you decide to get an oriental kitten, be prepared for it to meow loudly and a lot. It will not be possible to suppress the pet's desire to talk to the owner - you can only accept it.
"Thais" are very playful and interested in literally everything, and their "research" is always accompanied by meowing. Such a cat will meow when it wants to be stroked, when it finds its favorite toy, when it sees a bird outside the window... What is remarkable is that animals of this breed react to the human voice with the same meowing, which can lead to a real dialogue between the pet and its owner.
In addition to those listed, Siberian cats, Maine Coons, Tonkinese cats, as well as representatives of the Egyptian Mau and Turkish Van breeds can be considered chatterboxes.
