5 Reasons Why Cats Sleep in the Sink
Many cat owners are sure that their pets go to bed according to the principle “where they are tired, there they fall”.
But for some reason the choice of fluffy purrs falls on sinks, and sometimes even on bathtubs. There may be several reasons for this.
1. A cat can settle down to rest in a cool earthenware sink if the apartment is hot, which, you must admit, is not so rare, especially in the summer.

2. Often pets refuse to drink water from a bowl if it has been standing there for more than a few hours.
For this reason, they go to the bathroom to quench their thirst, so to speak, from the original source. And if the animal dozed off in the sink, it means it was simply waiting for the tap with life-giving moisture to open.
3. Particularly playful kittens treat the sink as a place to hide during active games with the owner or other four-legged family members.
4. If a whole crowd of guests has come to your home, don’t be surprised that your cat has secluded himself in the sink – perhaps he has found this place the only suitable place to be alone.
