As you know, when keeping a dog in an apartment, especially one that is not very large, it is worth choosing small-sized animals.
This is quite understandable - the smaller the new family member, the less requirements he has for space in the apartment. The hallway will be enough for the baby to properly stretch his legs.
Therefore, we advise you to get to know the following breeds better.
1. Yorkshire Terrier
Yorkies love cleanliness, and besides, they do not emit a specific smell and they practically do not shed.
Important: these dogs are very active, and if you deprive them of attention and active games in the fresh air, the character of Yorkshire terriers will be greatly spoiled.
2. Chihuahua
Dogs of this breed cannot be left alone and require constant attention from their owner. They also need short but active walks.
Please note: Due to the fragility of the breed, Chihuahuas should only be kept in a safe environment free of any objects that could harm them.
3. French Bulldog
The breed has both pros and cons. French bulldogs are incredibly patient, which means you won't hear them barking without a reason.
However, it is unlikely that anyone would want to sleep in a room where the loud snoring of a pet is heard.
4. Boston Terrier
Boston Terriers are considered true aristocrats – they even received the unofficial nickname “English gentleman”. Dogs of this breed do not show a tendency to conflicts and will not bark unless there is a reason for it.
