What phrases indicate that a person is lying to you: don't let yourself be deceived

It is believed that if the interlocutor coughs, taps his fingers on the tabletop, or looks away, then he is lying.
But sometimes these obvious signs are absent – and then you should analyze what exactly the person standing in front of you is saying.
"What did you ask?"
Answering a question with a question is, at the very least, impolite. And if you are sure that you have pronounced the phrase clearly and loudly, but the opponent still pretends not to have heard you, this means that he is a liar.
By asking a counter question, he tries to get more time to think about his answer.
"You've made it all up!" or "This is what you think of me!"
These phrases are said in order to make you feel guilty and thereby shift the responsibility onto you and get away with it.
If your interlocutor is innocent, it costs him nothing to tell you the truth instead of attacking you with accusations.
