Each person has their own attitude towards cleanliness and order.

For example, some people find it unacceptable to spend their valuable time on regular tidying up, while others cannot overcome the obsessive desire to constantly acquire new things for their home, gradually turning their home into a warehouse.

Perhaps it would be interesting to study the reasons why disorder arises - as it turns out, they are not related to willpower, but to psychological problems.

Firstly, the home becomes like a barn as a result of pathological hoarding (syllogomania), which is also known as “hoarding syndrome”, when a person drags literally everything into the house.

Secondly, the mess in the apartment can be explained from the point of view of infantilism, when an adult is absolutely not adapted to everyday life.

Typically, this manifests itself in a reluctance to take responsibility, to be mindful, to furnish the apartment or to maintain cleanliness.

And thirdly, housing is sometimes affected by issues such as chronic stress, depression, anxiety disorder, grief, or apathy.

Earlier, BelNovosti wrote about how to recognize manipulation and avoid its influence.
