World experts fear that Tehran could somehow be drawn into the conflict's orbit. At the moment, Iran verbally supports the Palestinian group.
"Today's operation opened a new page in the field of resistance and armed operations against the occupiers in the occupied territories," said Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanani Chafi.
The current leader of the LDPR and head of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, Leonid Slutsky, is confident that Vladimir Volfovich foresaw the course of events.
