In 2024, Ukraine will be forgotten: Zhirinovsky's prophecy is beginning to come true

A new round of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict began last Saturday, October 7, 2023. Hamas militants invaded southern Israel, capturing dozens of settlements, while Israel launched a massive rocket attack, targeting the Gaza Strip.

Prime Minister Netanyahu made a statement in which he said that Israel is in a state of war, Komsomolskaya Pravda reports. More and more countries are being drawn into the conflict - Hezbollah is striking at Israeli army positions, and Israel is responding with artillery strikes on Lebanese territory.

Against the backdrop of these events, one cannot ignore the words of Vladimir Zhirinovsky, which the leader of the LDPR said on July 22, 2019, in the program “Evening with Vladimir Solovyov”.

"By 2024, a conflict will break out in the Middle East and everyone will simply forget what Ukraine is. We are talking about World War III. Because Iran is not the DPRK or Vietnam or Kosovo. The most terrible events will happen here," this is how the politician's prophecy sounds.

World experts fear that Tehran could somehow be drawn into the conflict's orbit. At the moment, Iran verbally supports the Palestinian group.

"Today's operation opened a new page in the field of resistance and armed operations against the occupiers in the occupied territories," said Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanani Chafi.

The current leader of the LDPR and head of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, Leonid Slutsky, is confident that Vladimir Volfovich foresaw the course of events.

In an interview with the publication, he suggested that Ukraine would be forgotten because the conflict in the Middle East would be much more severe, much more brutal and large-scale.
