The Minsk budget for next year provides for a 15% increase in public sector salaries.
This information was announced on December 20 at the 8th session of the Minsk City Council by the head of the main financial department of the Minsk City Executive Committee Vladimir Zhukovich.

As a representative of the Minsk City Executive Committee said, the capital’s budget for next year will retain its social focus.
More than 5 billion rubles have been allocated for financing the social sphere.
Of these, 2.2 billion rubles will be allocated to education, 2.4 billion rubles to healthcare.
Particular attention will be paid to the salaries of public sector employees. Their incomes are planned to increase by an average of 15% compared to the current year's level.
More than 127 million rubles have been allocated for major repairs of social facilities.
It is planned to use these funds to modernize 71 facilities.
In particular, schools No. 63 and No. 115 in the Pervomaisky District, kindergarten No. 422 in the Frunzensky District, and school No. 4 in the Leninsky District will be modernized.
The capital's investment program for next year will amount to 1.57 billion rubles.
Within the framework of these funds, it is planned to commission 3 kindergartens, 3 clinics (two for children and one for adults), two physical education and health centers and one school.
