In the Belarusian capital, State Traffic Inspectorate officers are conducting raids.
During such events, special attention is paid to the safe transportation of passengers in minibuses.
This was reported by the Minsk-Novosti agency with reference to representatives of the State Traffic Inspectorate Department of the Zavodskoy District Department of Internal Affairs.
During the raids, law enforcement officers carefully monitor the drivers of the named vehicles to ensure that they comply with traffic rules.
No less close attention is paid to the technical condition of minibuses.
Inspectors strongly recommend that minibus drivers not transport more passengers than the number specified by the technical specifications of the vehicle.
They also remind you that you cannot talk on your mobile phone while driving, holding it in your hands.
They are also advised to choose a safe driving speed.
Drivers are urged to pick up and drop off passengers at designated stopping points.
In this regard, the State Traffic Inspectorate also appeals to passengers: it is said that it is forbidden to demand that a minibus driver stop in an unauthorized place.
Inspectors note: the driver must let passengers in and out of the vehicle only after the vehicle has come to a complete stop.
Starting movement is only allowed with the doors closed.
