Minsk has been hit by severe weather. Today, December 16, the roads are covered with snow, and the wind is getting stronger.

By the way, forecasters reported that wind speed in the capital could reach 20 meters per second.

Plus, even cleared sections of roads are very slippery, which is the fault of black ice.

In connection with such unfavorable weather conditions, the press service of the Minsktrans enterprise contacted Minsk residents.

In its official Telegram channel, the city warned residents of possible deviations in the public transport schedule.

Due to traffic congestion due to weather conditions, public transport is operating with a schedule delay of up to 30 minutes, the statement said.

Minsktrans also reported that on Monday morning, traffic was stopped on some trolleybus routes.

In particular, on Malinina and Krupskaya streets in the direction of Kabushkina street, where the contact network was damaged, the movement of trolleybuses No. 19 and 49 was stopped.

For the same reason, trolleybuses No. 10, 36 and 40 could not move on Dzerzhinsky Avenue – stop “Metro Station Mikhalovo” in both directions.

At the moment, the movement of the named trolleybuses has been restored.

And there was also a stop of trolleybus #4 on Pushkin Avenue - in the direction of Kalvariyskaya Street. There was an accident there.

By nine o'clock in the morning, trolleybus service on route No. 4 was restored.
