On December 6, a meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State was held in Minsk, chaired by the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko.
Russian President Vladimir Putin and senior officials arrived in the capital to take part in the official event.
Following the meeting of the Supreme State Council, Presidents Lukashenko and Putin made important decisions in Minsk and approved the Concept of Security of the Union State, the press service of the head of state reports.
During the meeting between the two leaders, two important documents in the area of security were discussed.
We are talking about concluding an interstate Treaty on security guarantees within the framework of the Union State.
The heads of the two states also approved the Concept of Security of the Union State.
The document was prepared in the context of serious changes in the military-political situation and the socio-economic situation in Eastern Europe and on the territory of the Union State, sanctions pressure from the West and an unprecedented information war.
At the same time, decisions were made concerning uniform rules for the protection of consumer rights, the establishment of comfortable tariffs for the use of communication services and data transmission on the territory of the SG, and other issues were considered.
