The Ministry of Forestry of Belarus announced the imminent opening of the first Christmas tree market in Minsk.
The event is expected this coming Saturday, December 14. This information was published in the official Telegram channel of the department's press service.
It is stated that the market will be located on the territory of the Minsk forestry enterprise, which is Bagration Street (building number 70).
Residents of Minsk were promised that on the first day of trade, buyers would be offered not only a wide range of New Year trees, but also real forest tea and honey treats.
According to Tatyana Botyan, deputy head of the organization for ideological work of the Minsk forestry enterprise, many are already calling and asking when they will be able to buy spruce trees.
The most impatient ones have already bought potted Christmas trees from us and didn’t wait for the market to open,” she said.
As for prices, a spruce up to 1 meter will cost 20 rubles 70 kopecks, from 1 to 2 meters - 29 rubles, from 2 to 3 meters - 36.2 rubles.
In addition, you can buy plants in tubs at the forestry department - prices start at 38 rubles 20 kopecks.
In addition, buyers will be offered New Year's bouquets and festive ikebana.
The bazaar will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. starting tomorrow. The last day of trading here until the New Year – December 31st.
