It is reported that the Lada crashed into the GAZ ambulance at the intersection of Pushkin Avenue and Pritytskogo Street.
At the time of movement through the said intersection, the GAZ vehicle had blue flashing lights and an audible alarm on, the department noted.
Fortunately, no one was hurt as a result of the incident.
However, the colliding vehicles received mechanical damage.
Employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Frunzensky District Department of Internal Affairs of Minsk were working at the scene of the accident, the report says.
In connection with the incident, the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate once again called on drivers to be extremely attentive and careful while driving.
They were reminded that compliance with traffic rules is the best guarantee of their own safety.
