An unusual traffic accident occurred on Wednesday evening, December 11, in the center of the Belarusian capital.
A truck with beer overturned on Surganova Street. The truck collided with three other vehicles.
As reported by the press service of the Minsk City Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the rescuers received a message about this accident from the Main Directorate of Internal Affairs of the Minsk City Executive Committee.
They were informed that a Volvo tractor-trailer with a tanker truck had overturned on the street in question.
At the scene, rescuers found out that the 45-year-old driver of the truck lost control, as a result of which the car overturned, colliding with three other cars.
Fortunately, no one was hurt in the accident. The truck suffered mechanical damage.
The integrity of the tank with the name of one of the beer producers was not compromised.
It is noted that special equipment from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was working at the scene of the incident.
To lift the heavy-duty vehicle, the tractor was disconnected from the cargo section.
The front part of the truck was lifted using winches and a system of cables from fire rescue vehicles.
The cargo part was lifted using two truck cranes from third-party organizations.
At 21:50, the 32-ton tanker truck was put into transport position, the department noted.
Half an hour before this, the roadway was cleared and traffic was restored.
