It recently became known that a 38-year-old man died at an ice rink in the center of the Belarusian capital.
The incident happened on Saturday evening, December 21.
Information about this, which was disseminated in the media, was confirmed to the Belta agency by the official representative of the Investigative Committee for Minsk, Ekaterina Garlinskaya.
She noted that, according to the investigation, that evening the 38-year-old man came with his children to the indoor ice rink.
The facility is located on Pobediteley Avenue (building 4a).
One of the eyewitnesses said that the Minsk resident was skating.
At some point, the citizen suddenly fell.
The skating rink staff immediately called an ambulance.
Unfortunately, it was not possible to save the Minsk resident; doctors confirmed his death, noted the representative of the capital's Investigative Committee.
An investigation into the incident is being conducted by employees of the Central (Minsk) District Department of the Investigative Committee.
All circumstances of the tragedy are currently being investigated.
According to Ekaterina Garlinskaya, a forensic medical examination has been ordered.
