The accident happened yesterday at about 15:00.
The Fiat minibus, driven by a 58-year-old citizen, was traveling along Dzerzhinsky Avenue.
At some point, the driver drove through a red light. This happened at the intersection with Shchorsa Street.
The result of the above-described traffic violation was a collision between a minibus and a Hyundai. Incidentally, the second vehicle was driving through a green light.
After the traffic accident, 5 people were taken to medical facilities. We are talking about 3 passengers of the minibus, as well as the driver and passenger of the car.
The State Traffic Inspectorate has issued the following reminder to motorists: before driving through a controlled intersection, you must reduce your speed and prepare for the need to stop when a different traffic light appears.
In addition, the State Traffic Inspectorate reminded Belarusians of a simple rule: you cannot drive through a red light.
