Drug Market Owner Arrested for Involvement in 2020 Protests
Belarusian law enforcement officers have detained the owner of an online store that was selling prohibited substances.
The not-so-distant past of the defendant in the criminal case deserves special attention. Despite his young age, he already came to the attention of law enforcement officers in 2020.
The Minsk drug control department detained a 21-year-old Minsk resident for selling narcotics, the Belarusian Ministry of Internal Affairs Telegram channel reports.
The investigation established that the young man had previously been involved in illegal shadow activities.
Several years ago, the detainee created two Internet drug shops and administered the work of these resources.
However, he soon stopped his illegal activities and moved to Europe.
It is known that this same citizen was previously convicted for calling for burning tires on the streets of Minsk in 2020.
This year, the man decided to return to Belarus and again organized an underground store for the distribution of psychotropic drugs.
For this purpose, he hired a 28-year-old worker. The courier-stasher, on the instructions of the store organizer, took wholesale lots, packaged them and left the psychotropics in hiding places.
The arrest took place with the forceful support of the Almaz SPBT fighters.
Accomplices were detained, stores were liquidated.
A criminal case has been opened regarding the sale of narcotics.
