Popular Minsk Gorky Park is going under reconstruction
It has recently become known that the Central Children's Park named after M. Gorky, popular among residents of the Belarusian capital, will be undergoing reconstruction in October.
It is expected that he will receive the “update” within the next year.
Preparatory activities will begin on October 7, and the reconstruction itself will begin by the end of this month.
The head of the production department of Minskzelenstroy, Andrey Protsuk, shared this information with the Minsk-Novosti agency.
According to him, it is planned to replace utility networks and partially the lighting. And they will also install identical trade pavilions.
The head of the department promised Minsk residents additional recreation areas and a new playground for children in the park.
We will develop the empty area: we will install a sandbox and play equipment there, the specialist said.
The reconstruction is expected to be completed before the start of the next amusement season, that is, by the end of April 2025.
