The suspect sent messages via e-mail and also made calls over the Internet.

He never received money for his “services,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs noted.

A criminal case has been opened against the young man.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs reminds that false bombing is a serious crime. When responding to bomb threats, colossal technical, material and human resources of emergency services are used, and the work of institutions is disrupted. All expenses are reimbursed by the guilty party.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs also reminded that the Internet does not guarantee anonymity.

The internet intelligence units of the internal affairs agencies are identifying and detaining the perpetrators, the department added.
