Turkish citizen put on international wanted list extradited from Belarus

A Turkish citizen, who was put on the international wanted list for premeditated murder, was handed over by Belarusian law enforcement officers to their Turkish colleagues.

Information about the location of the alleged perpetrator was received through Interpol channels.

As part of international cooperation, Belarusian law enforcement officers extradited a foreign citizen wanted for committing serious crimes, the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus reports.

The man was on the territory of our state and was detained for illegally crossing the State border and violating the rules of stay on the territory of the Republic of Belarus.

It is known that the 32-year-old foreigner was put on the international wanted list by the Turkish authorities.

He is suspected of premeditated murder with the use of a firearm, as well as drug trafficking.

The decision to extradite a wanted foreign citizen to his home country was made by the Prosecutor General's Office of Belarus.

The transfer procedure took place at the Minsk National Airport.
