This coming weekend – September 7 and 8 – traffic in the center of the Belarusian capital will be changed.
The adjustment of its organization is connected with the holding of the Minsk Half Marathon during the specified period.
For this reason, the press service of the city State Traffic Inspectorate explains on its Telegram channel, a ban on vehicle movement is being introduced.
Thus, on Saturday from four in the evening until midnight, traffic along Kirov Street will be closed to vehicles – from Komsomolskaya to Sverdlova.
On Sunday, the section of Kirov from Komsomolskaya to Sverdlov will be closed to vehicles from midnight to four in the evening.
In addition, on September 8 from 07:00 to 13:00, vehicle traffic will be temporarily closed on the following sections:
– along Nezavisimosti Avenue from Yanka Kupala Street to Pobeda Square, including the traffic circle at Pobeda Square;
– along Kiseleva Street from Krasnaya Street to Pobeda Square;
- along the local road of Independence Avenue from Kisileva Street to Kommunisticheskaya Street;
– along Kommunisticheskaya Street from the local passage of Independence Avenue to Kuibyshev Street;
– along Kuibyshev Street from Kommunisticheskaya Street to Yanka Kupala Street;
– along Yanka Kupala Street from Kuibyshev Street to Maksim Bogdanovich Street;
- along Storozhovskaya street;
– along Masherov Avenue from Storozhovskaya Street to Pobediteley Avenue;
– along Pobediteley Avenue from Orlovskaya Street to Lenin Street;
– along Lenin Street from Pobediteley Avenue to Internatsionalnaya Street.
Vehicle movement will be unavailable from seven in the morning until two in the afternoon :
– along Sverdlova Street from Kirov Street to Independence Avenue;
– along Independence Avenue from Sverdlova Street to Yanka Kupala Street;
– along Lenin Street from International Street to Independence Avenue.
From 07:00 to 15:00 the following traffic is unavailable:
– along Sverdlova Street from Kirov Street to Ulyanovskaya Street;
– along the even side of Ulyanovskaya Street from Sverdlova Street to Lenin Street.
From 07:00 to 16:00 – along Kirov from Lenin to Komsomolskaya.
From 12:00 to 14:00 – along Ya. Kupala from Independence Avenue to Internatsionalnaya and along Internatsionalnaya from Kupala to Lenin.
The State Traffic Inspectorate asks drivers to be understanding of the temporary restrictions and to plan their travel routes taking into account the above information.
