It is difficult to ask directly when meeting someone about the number of sexual partners, but it is even more difficult to answer such a question.
It turns out that there is a right and wrong answer. British scientists conducted the relevant studies and here is what they found out.
The number of sexual partners has a huge impact on the prospects for developing new relationships, researchers report in The Journal of Sex Research.
As already said, the answer may be right or wrong.
A survey was conducted among almost two hundred respondents.
At the beginning of a new acquaintance, they had to inform their new partner about the number of relationships in the past.
The answers included the option of having no connections or admitting to having had a lot of intimate experience.
An analysis was then conducted. It turned out that interest in a person disappeared if he admitted to having a large number of partners in a past life.
But a similar situation was observed in the case when a person admitted to having no or insufficient sexual experience.
According to researchers, in order to make a good impression, you need to stick to something in the middle.
Scientists have named those who have had no more than six partners as ideal lovers.
The critical number is considered to be from 9 to 11 lovers in the past. After such an answer, interest in acquaintances decreased.
