Two drivers died in Dobrush district
A fatal road accident occurred on Monday morning, November 11, in the Dobrush district of the Gomel region of Belarus.
As a result of the accident, unfortunately, two car drivers died.
The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic reported on the incident on its official Telegram channel.
According to the data released by the department, the incident took place at around eight o'clock in the morning.
At that time, a Nissan driven by a 45-year-old woman was driving along the “Approach to Gomel from the M10” highway.
On the first kilometer of the said highway, the driver of the Japanese car drove into the oncoming traffic lane.
There she collided head-on with an Opel car driven by a 43-year-old driver.
As a result of the accident, both drivers died. And the 63-year-old passenger of the "German" was taken to hospital with various injuries.
State Traffic Safety Inspectorate officers and an investigative task force were working at the scene of the incident.
In connection with the incident, law enforcement officers once again called on drivers to be especially attentive and careful while driving.
