Three Belarusian citizens with a drone were detained near the border with Poland.
One of the violators attempted to escape, the press service of the State Border Committee reported on Telegram.
Yesterday evening, Brest border guards detained three Belarusians at the border with Poland. One of them tried to escape in a car.
A multi-rotor drone and six batteries were confiscated from the detainees.
An administrative process was initiated against the detainees for violating border regulations.
Two of them were fined a week earlier for a similar violation (25 BV each). Now they face a fine of up to 100 BV.
The man who tried to escape will also be held administratively liable for disobeying a lawful order of an official.
He is currently in the temporary detention facility of the Brest Border Group.
The State Border Committee reminds: on April 1, Decree No. 297 of September 25, 2023 came into force, prohibiting the import, manufacture, circulation, operation and storage of drones and the use of the country's airspace without appropriate permission.
