Storm wind in Grodno knocked down two Christmas trees

On December 16, a storm wind knocked down two New Year trees in Grodno.
Festive trees fell on Kabyaka Street and near the Oktyabr cinema.
Specialists are working on site. New trees will be installed as soon as the weather improves, the Grodno City Executive Committee's Telegram channel reports.
When the wind dies down in Belarus
According to weather forecasters, strong winds of 15-20 meters per second will continue throughout the day.
In the western half of the country, wind speeds can reach 21-24 m/s, in some places – 25-26 m/s.
On Tuesday, December 17, strong winds of 15-20 m/s are expected in most parts of the country. In Minsk, the wind speed will be 15-18 m/s.
On Wednesday, strong winds of 15-20 m/s will continue in some areas. On Thursday, the wind should subside.
