It recently became known that an international channel for the supply of psychotropic drugs from the European Union to Belarus and Russia was stopped.
In particular, the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Internal Affairs reported this on its official Telegram channel.
According to information released by the department, drug control officers of the Brest region, together with colleagues from the regional customs and Russian police, detained the organizer of the illegal business.
Five of his accomplices were also detained, as was the recipient of the goods, a Russian citizen, in the Moscow region.
In total, law enforcement officers discovered and confiscated 225 kilograms of the psychotropic drug 4-SMS.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that details of this case would be disclosed “in a journalistic investigation” in the near future.
