Four children injured in fire in Bobruisk: they were hospitalized

On Friday evening, a serious incident occurred in the city of Bobruisk in the Mogilev region of Belarus.

At approximately 10:15 p.m., rescuers received a message about a burning apartment in a multi-story building located on Ulyanovskaya Street.

At the scene, they discovered smoke coming from one of the apartments on the eighth floor of the building.

But there were no people in the burning apartment itself, the press service of the Mogilev Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations reports .

The fire destroyed things in the hallway, and the walls and ceiling of the apartment were also blackened with smoke.

After examination by the ambulance team, four children were hospitalized from apartments on the 10th and 11th floors.

According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, three 8-year-old boys and one 10-year-old girl were taken to the hospital. The diagnosis was poisoning by combustion products.

Doctors reported that the condition of the young city residents is currently assessed as satisfactory.

According to the preliminary version, the fire was caused by a short circuit in a ceiling light.
