Law enforcement officers of the Gomel region have detained a 27-year-old stasher of prohibited substances red-handed.

The man came to the Svetlogorsk region “on a mission” and was detained while placing another batch of psychotropic drugs.

In the Gomel region, drug control officers detained a 27-year-old drug dealer, the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus reports.

The suspect was detained while placing another batch of caches.

To do this, the courier climbed into the forest area of the Svetlogorsk region.

During the investigation, law enforcement officers discovered and seized 300 grams of the particularly dangerous psychotropic substance alpha-PVP from the detainee and from the rented apartment.

The young man told law enforcement that he had worked as a courier in one of the online drug markets for about two weeks.

A criminal case has been opened against the detainee for selling drugs as part of an organized group.

This act is punishable by imprisonment for up to 20 years.
