A trip to a disco in Skidel ended in a chase with gunfire
In Skidel, State Traffic Safety Inspectorate officers detained a drunk driver without a license by shooting.

What happened
Today at approximately 04:00 in Skidel, traffic police inspectors signaled a Mazda car to stop.
The driver ignored the demand to stop and increased speed, and the traffic police began pursuing him.
While escaping the chase, the driver swerved along the road, creating a real threat to other road users. The inspectors used weapons to stop the car.
Warning shots were followed by targeted shots, damaging two wheels, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
The driver was a 22-year-old resident of the Zelva district. In 2022, he was deprived of his license for driving while intoxicated.
The medical examination showed more than 1 ppm. The guy, together with a passenger whom he had met at a gas station the day before, was going to a disco in Grodno.
Six administrative protocols were drawn up against the driver, including for disobedience, he was detained. The car was confiscated and placed in a guarded parking lot.
