Brest customs officers removed 19 royal pythons of unusual coloring from a regular bus traveling from Poland.

Large snakes were removed from the steps of the vehicle and handed over to the Minsk Zoo.

The press service of the State Customs Committee reported on its Telegram channel about an atypical situation on the Belarusian-Polish border at the Brest checkpoint.

According to the department, the reptiles were hidden in a specially equipped hiding place by the bus driver.

At the checkpoint, he stated that he was only transporting personal used items.

But the customs officers had doubts. As it turned out, for good reason.

The scanogram obtained using the IDK indicated uncharacteristic additional deposits in the bus cavity, the State Customs Committee noted.

Next, they unscrewed the screws on the step panel and took five containers with pythons out of the niche.

The driver hid not only snakes. Along with them, he "packed" six monometers.

The Brest Customs Office has initiated administrative proceedings against this citizen of Belarus.

By the way, the staff of the Minsk Zoo, where the pythons are currently located, thanked the customs officers, saying that this coloring of the snakes is exclusive to the zoo.
