The Mi-8 helicopter, flying from Irkutsk to the village of Orlik, located in Buryatia, made a hard landing.

The head of the Republic of Buryatia, Alexey Tsydenov, reported the incident on his Telegram channel.

The helicopter, which was carrying out a medical flight for our airline "Barguzin", made a hard landing 85 km from Irkutsk, he wrote.

According to the author of the post, there were doctors and crew members on board the helicopter.

Fortunately, there were no casualties. According to preliminary data, two people received minor injuries, the rest were not hurt, Tsydenov noted.

In turn, the TASS agency, citing the head of the Okinsky District administration of Buryatia, Matvey Madasov, reports that the helicopter was flying to pick up a patient from the village of Orlik.

The official said that the child would be taken to Ulan-Ude by ambulance. He is currently in the Central District Hospital, "but there are indications for evacuation."

An ambulance is currently being prepared to transport the child by land, said Madasov.
