It recently became known that the bodies of all those killed in the Mi-8 helicopter crash in Kamchatka have been found.
The search and rescue operation is officially over.
The portal "TUT NOVOSTI" reports this with reference to a statement by the head of the regional Ministry of Emergency Situations, Sergei Lebedev.
It is noted that he made this information public on his page on the social network VKontakte.
The Minister announced that the rescuers working at the site of the tragedy should be picked up by a helicopter from the Russian Emergencies Ministry.
The bodies of the deceased have been found and handed over to forensic authorities. The search and rescue operation has been completed, he wrote.
The Kamchatka authorities declared September 3 a day of mourning for those killed in the crash of the Mi-8 of the Vityaz-Aero Aviation Company.
As previously reported by the media, there were also residents of the Kamchatka Territory on board the crashed helicopter.
There were also Muscovites, residents of Lipetsk and Amur regions, Buryatia, Udmurtia and Perm Krai.
It is known that relatives of the deceased citizens have already begun to arrive on the peninsula.
