Birds pecked at woman's car in Grodno. She says they could have been set on them
An unusual incident occurred in the city of Grodno at the start of autumn 2024 – on the evening of September 1.
A local resident contacted the police with a statement that her car had been pecked by birds.
Law enforcement officers received a message about this at approximately 8:30 p.m., the press service of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee’s Internal Affairs Directorate reported on its official Telegram channel.
A Grodno resident living in a house on Popovich Street said that someone had scattered bread crumbs on the roof of her car.
The woman suspected malicious intent: she has reason to believe that this was done on purpose so that the birds would damage the paintwork of the foreign car.
The complainant assumed that envious neighbors could have done this, since the vehicle had only left the showroom two days ago, the police department noted.
Currently, the Oktyabrsky District Department of Internal Affairs of the city is conducting an investigation into the incident, the department concluded.
