The drug control officers of the Baranovichi City Department of Internal Affairs detained two 14-year-old schoolgirls.

For what they did, the young residents of this regional center of the Brest region face very serious punishment - up to 15 years of imprisonment.

The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus reported on what the girls had done on its official Telegram channel.

It is reported that one day, ninth-graders came across an ad in a messenger offering to earn some extra money.

They became interested. The drug market curator contacted them, promising the teenagers easy money.

This is how the schoolgirls' "moonlighting" began. They received batches of drugs, packaged them and distributed them through caches in Baranovichi.

The girls were detained while they were carrying out their third task – placing the psychotropic substance 4-CMC in hiding places near a garage cooperative.

A criminal case has been opened on the basis of this “side job” – the schoolgirls face up to 15 years in prison.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs explained that such punishment for minors is provided for by law, according to which responsibility for drug trafficking begins at the age of 14.

In connection with the incident, law enforcement officials called on parents to monitor their children.
