Trump Plans to Discharge All Transgender Soldiers from the US Army

Donald Trump has decided to fire all transgender soldiers from the US military.

This could happen as early as the first day of a Republican presidency, which would be January 20, 2025.

The Times newspaper reports that Trump will sign an order that will discharge 15,000 people from the military "due to medical unfitness for service."

The publication draws attention to the fact that the event could occur at a time when almost all branches of the country's Armed Forces are experiencing a shortage of personnel.

Among those who will be forced to leave the ranks of the Armed Forces are also high-ranking officers, writes the TASS agency, which has reviewed the newspaper’s publication.

The author of the article recalls that 78-year-old Trump is opposed to “political correctness” in the army.

The politician believes that some of the officers often show much more interest in “equality and inclusion” than in planning military operations.

Pentagon chief candidate Pete Hegseth said he would not accept "weak and effeminate" leadership in the country's military.

Therefore, he said, “the next commander in chief will have to clean up his house.”

Hegseth also called the Pentagon's spending on transgender health care unacceptable.

In his view, focusing on issues that affect only a few service members is an example of "trans madness."
