US President-elect Donald Trump has named the condition under which his country will remain in NATO.

According to him, Washington will not leave the North Atlantic Alliance if other member states maintain a certain level of contributions to the organization.

If they pay the bills, absolutely, the politician was quoted as saying in an interview with NBC News by the portal TUT NOVOSTI.

By the way, the military-political bloc itself previously expressed concern about Trump’s intention to withdraw the United States from the Alliance if his condition is not met.

And he also stated that America will not support NATO alone.

Let us recall that Trump will begin governing the country for a second term (not consecutive).

He will officially take office on January 20, 2025, when his inauguration is scheduled.

Previously, the famous Republican was the owner of the White House after the 2016 presidential election, but lost to Joe Biden in the following one.

Trump reportedly became the first citizen since the 19th century to return to the White House after a four-year hiatus.
