Trump announces appointment of Musk as one of the heads of the new US department

Donald Trump, who won the recent US presidential election, announced that his billionaire supporter Elon Musk will receive a high post.
The Republican has prepared a similarly high position for businessman Vivek Ramaswamy.
Both will lead the country's new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
Dismantling government bureaucracy
The event was reported by MIA "Russia Today" with reference to Trump's published statement.
I am pleased to announce that the great Elon Musk, working alongside American patriot Vivek Ramaswamy, will lead the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), the head of state-elect announced.
He added that the “two wonderful Americans” he had chosen for such a responsible job would “dismantle the government bureaucracy.”
Their remit also includes efforts to reduce “excessive regulations” and “wasteful spending.”
Trump also entrusted Musk and Ramaswamy with the task of restructuring federal agencies.
Musk's reaction
Elon Musk commented on his appointment on the social network X.
He promised users that the work of the new department would be reflected on the Internet, i.e. it would be as transparent as possible.
Any time the public thinks we're cutting something important or not cutting something wasteful, just let us know, the world's richest man asked.
He also announced that the Department would maintain a table of “leaders in the most insanely stupid spending” among the country’s taxpayers.
According to Elon, the upcoming vigorous activity of the new department will become a real “threat to the bureaucracy.”
By the way, the name of the Department – DOGE – refers to the Dogecoin cryptocurrency, which Musk likes.
This digital banknote was named after the popular Internet meme Doge, which depicts a puzzled Shiba Inu dog.
