More than 110 law enforcement officers injured during protests in Tbilisi

It recently became known that over 110 law enforcement officers were injured during the ongoing protests in Tbilisi.

According to the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs, the reason for this was the actions of the protest participants.

Moreover, over the last night alone, more than two dozen security forces were injured, TASS reports .

The republic's Ministry of Internal Affairs noted that in the first two days of December, 21 police officers were injured due to "violent actions" by protesters.

All injured employees of the internal affairs agencies are receiving medical assistance.

Over the past few days, 113 employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs have been injured during protests, of which 4 remain in the hospital, the Ministry of Internal Affairs added.

The agency also reported that last night protesters fired pyrotechnics at the parliament building and threw stones, burning objects, glass bottles and metal objects at police officers.
