Chairman of State Affairs of the DPRK Kim Jong-un spoke about the danger of thermonuclear war with the United States.
The North Korean leader made this statement while speaking at the opening of an arms exhibition in Pyongyang.
Kim Jong-un's words are quoted by the Korean Central News Agency.
The head of the DPRK noted that the parties to the conflict on the Korean Peninsula have never been in such a sharp confrontation.
In a situation that could at any moment escalate into the most destructive thermonuclear war, Kim Jong-un said.
According to him, negotiations with Washington only convinced Pyongyang of the immutability of the US hostile policy.
We are now seeing the most chaotic and violent world since World War II, the North Korean leader noted.
