France has not changed its position on attacks deep into Russia.
This was stated by the head of the French Foreign Ministry, Jean-Noël Barrot, upon arrival at the meeting of the foreign ministers of the European Union countries in Brussels.
The statement by the head of the French Foreign Ministry is quoted by TASS .
Yesterday, the American publication The New York Times, citing sources, reported that US President Joseph Biden has authorized Ukraine to strike Russia with ATACMS tactical ballistic missiles.
The French publication Le Figaro wrote in an article about Biden's decision that Paris and London had given similar permission to use their SCALP and Storm Shadow missiles, but later removed this information from the article.
Barrot stated that France has not changed its position on strikes deep into Russia, but that such a possibility is being considered.
Nothing new on this issue, said the head of French diplomacy.
