German Chancellor Olaf Scholz was spotted in Kyiv. The last time he was seen in the Ukrainian capital was two and a half years ago.

According to available information, the German leader arrived in Kyiv to personally negotiate with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz arrived in Kiev to hold talks with Volodymyr Zelensky, the MIA Rossiya Segodnya agency quotes German publications as saying.

It is noted that at the end of last week, Scholz spoke with Zelensky by telephone.

The press learned that the politicians discussed the current military and humanitarian situation in Ukraine.

The Chancellor reportedly assured his interlocutor that Berlin would continue to provide military support to Kyiv.

In particular, such a statement was made publicly by the official representative of the German government, Steffen Hebestreit.
